Summer Skin Care Tips

Happy Summer, beach lovers! The sunniest time of year has arrived, and I'm here to share some of my go-to Summer skincare tips and tricks. I have a feeling you're going to love these products, skincare tips, and brands.  Are you ready for glowing, sun-kissed, fresh Summer skin? Let's get to it!

P.S. Some of these beachy skincare finds will be coming your way in this season's Beachly box. And I might even have a verrry exciting, Beachly-exclusive secret to share with you. Keep on reading to find out!

The Ice Cube Trick

I'm going to start this off real simple, with something all of us already have sitting right in our own homes - ice cubes! Did you know there are 15 beauty benefits that come from using an ice cube on your face? Let's call it an ice facial to make it official.

My favorite thing to do in the morning is wash my face and then grab an ice cube to de-puff, radiate, and increase blood circulation after a good night sleep. It also helps to enhance product absorption, so I love doing an ice facial right before applying my morning skincare. Trust me - a fresh-out-of-the-freezer ice cube is going to become your new go-to beauty staple this Summer.

My Summertime Sunscreen

Summer beauty is non-existent without a solid sunscreen. This season, my go-to sunscreen is coming straight from the Beachly Summer box! That's right, we partnered up with local San Diego friends, Sun Bum, to bring the Beachly Tribe the best in sun-care.

*Spoiler Alert!* The Original SPF 30 Sunscreen Lotion will be en route with all of your other Summer box goodies in no time. It's moisturizing and created with ingredients to enrich your skin with Vitamin E while protecting it from harmful UVA/UVB rays.

Post-Sunshine Skincare

There's something I love about a day spent soaking up the sunshine and the skincare that follows. My favorite way to soothe my skin after a beach day is with light, refreshing skincare products. And this season - we're bringing you a kit that comes with everything you'll need to do just that!

Another spoiler alert!? Yes! Keep an eye out for the Resting Beach Face Kit by Patchology in your Beachly Summer box. It's filled with four post-sunshine masks to reduce the impact of the seaside triple-threat - sunshine, salt water, and sand. Your skin is going to love this one and you'll be feeling youthful, zen, and fresh-faced in no time!

Check out Patchology here and use the code PATCH20 for 20% off your order.

A Salty Body Scrub

A good post-beach day scrub is exactly what I need after lounging in the sand and swimming in the waves. It's like my skin literally needs a good salty scrub to get the seaside saltiness away. My favorite body scrub for the Summer is from our friends over at I'm Salty Body Scrubs. They have a ton of different scents to choose from, too!

Pssst - this one's for the Beachly Members. Did you know you can add an I'm Salty Body Scrub in the Island Vibes scent to your Summer box!? Check out the Summer Add-Ons Sale here and add to your box. The sale ends on Monday, May 24 at 11:59 pm PST.
