Beachly Tips: 6 Self-Care Tips for the Spring

Spring has officially arrived and this season is all about fresh starts and new beginnings. As the chill of Winter melts away and the sun rays of Spring begin to shine, I'll be practicing some new self-care ideas to brighten up my days just a little bit more. Lets dive in together and Spring clean our routines! 


Spring Flowers

My first self-care tip for the Spring is simple yet effective. All you have to do is brighten up your space with some freshly cut Spring flowers! I love adding vibrant flowers to every room in my home - from the kitchen to the bedroom, and everywhere in-between. 

And if you really want to make this a self-care ritual, head to your local farmers market and go for a stroll to find the perfect Spring flower for your space. You can treat yourself to a coffee, get outside, and breathe in that fresh air - which brings me to my next Spring self-care tip!


Fresh Air 

There's something about the first warm day of Spring that makes me just want to take a deep breath and breathe in that fresh Spring air. Take a small moment out of each day to get outdoors, soak up the sunshine, and give yourself some fresh air. 

Maybe this means sitting on your patio with a cup of tea and book in hand or you might be more inclined to go for a morning jog and get your body moving. Refreshing Scents

One of my favorite ways to liven up my space and rejuvenate my soul is with some refreshing scents. The ritual of lighting a candle and the aroma filling my space is simply divine! I like to light a candle before I settle in for the night with a journal or my latest Spring read.

Seasonal Bites

There are so many delicious fruits and veggies that come into season as we transition into Spring! Some of my personal favorite finds at the farmers market are avocados, cherries, and strawberries. You can see more seasonal Spring fruits and veggies here.

And last but certainly not least... a little Spring self-care isn't complete without revamping your skincare! As the weather warms up, I always like to transition from heavier creams to light serums to keep my skin feeling that healthy glow.
